Navigate was designed to assist vessel operators to manage the paperwork and systems required to ensure that their vessel:
- Maintains its current survey status
- Has current safety equipment
- Has an established maintenance plan
- Manages their compliance with all Crew Certification requirements
- Health & Safety issues and meetings are recorded
Navigate acts as a 'live' database of a vessel’s records. Should an operator wish, regulatory authorities can be given access to their vessel’s records, ideally reducing the costs and enhancing the efficiency of the Audit process.
Once given access to their particular page it is up to the operator to build the individual system that allows them to effectively manage their vessel.
When a record (a certificate, or a document relating to a piece of safety equipment, for instance) with an expiry date is saved in the system the operator will be notified by email multiple times. The status of the particular entry will change to orange and, if the expiry date is not changed (i.e. renewed and amended in the system) the operator will receive another email informing them that the item has expired, and its status will change to Red.
Given accurate input, Navigate will provide an easy and accurate facility that assists the operator to manage their vessel with confidence.
